Krystal - Bridal

Wind. It can be a good thing or your worst enemy when shooting.  But, add a veil to wind and you have a perfect bridal session.  You may remember Krystal from her engagement session last year.  So sweet, patient, and open to ideas, she always brings her fabulous smile when we shoot and I so enjoy working with her. Thanks to Hues by Heather for another fabulous job as well!

Rachel - Bridal

Lurkers, I would like to re-introduce you to the reason I love bridal sessions so much. Take a bride and put her in any type of setting that's out of the ordinary, and you are bound to get something you just absolutely love! That's what this sessions was for me; pure fun and totally rewarding. And yes, it always helps when you have a setting like the new boutique hotel located in the Woodlands, Avia and an absolutely stunning bride like Rachel, to work with.  We probably could have spent all day shooting in and around this beautiful hotel. What fun!

Extra special thanks to Rachel's lovely mother,  Carolyn, and oh-so-helpful and sweet pal, Andrea for all of your help!

Melissa - Boudoir

Yesterday's cloudy skies in the late afternoon forced me to break out my favorite little lighting setup for a boudoir session with Melissa. So cute and easy to work with, Melissa zipped through the session like a pro! And yes ladies... Eat your hearts out because not only is that the actual color of her eyes, but those are also her own eyelashes! Color me jealous!

Kelly & Abdon - Maternity

I'm sooo excited about posting this blog. My first day back to work yesterday kicked off with this fabulous maternity session with Kelly and Abdon. They're far from new to this blog and most will remember them as the lovely couple who were married in Ireland last year. Well, guess what?!? They're having a baby!!!

It's been forever since I shot a maternity session and I was so looking forward to this particular shoot being my first job since I had my baby. What a fun time we had too. Kelly has the perfect pregnant belly because that's all she is; belly! And although they haven't nailed down a name as of yet, we're pretty sure it's going to be Abdon or Aiden. If it's something else, well... We might be doing some "make-up homework" :-)

Liea - Boudoir

Wow, yesterday was a wonderful day! My maternity leave is officially over and I hopped back into work with two amazing sessions!  Everyone, meet Liea! Pretty, friendly, and a perfect session for boudoir. Liea came stocked with a beautiful wardrobe of changes and frilly (yet tasteful) things to wear and her ease in front of the camera made this an awesome session!
