Briana - Boudoir

It was a busy weekend with lots of shooting involved and I'm marking another studio favorite down with the shoot I had with Briana.  As pretty as she is sweet, this was not only a breeze for the both of us to get through, she came packed with a toy box full of props, ideas, and changes that complimented everything about her personality and made her shoot terrific! I LOVE my job :-)

Rachel - Boudoir

Hi everyone and welcome to the new studio! This year's Boudoir Bash is turning out fabulous so I am so excited to finally be able to post some sneaks of the fun stuff we're creating in there. Meet Rachel. Pretty much perfect in every way; can wear a trash bag and still look absolutely beautiful in front of the camera lens. But to make things extra perfect, she packed a fantastic toy box of fun clothes and ideas to play with. To sum it up, this was a fun shoot!

Looking forward to ALL of the fantastic sessions at the new photo crib.

Wilde - Garcia Wedding

What a better way to close off my last wedding before my break, than with a day as spectacular as this one was. Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Garcia! Two Aggies who are more than perfect for each other. This day was filled with so much culture, love, and smiles, I barely had to look for something to shoot! It's also rare that a reception feels like it could go hours past the scheduled end time.. But this was a party that never took a break. What a terrific wedding!!!

Many congratulations to Julia and Jerry; WHOOP!

Cristina + Beau

Friday was another great day. It was a good day for shooting downtown and I had the opportunity to work with another terrific couple. Everyone, meet Cristina and Beau! So in love and so cute. It was also the first time I shot a couple who went to rivalry schools and weren't afraid to be proud about it. Fun times for sure!

Kristie - Bridal

What a terrific week! This was a busy one for me (still is), but it's turning out to be a fantastic one for shooting. I think most of you have met Kristie and Ric before... But here they are in their day after/bridal shoot. These sessions work so much better than on the actual day because the couple is much more relaxed about their wearing formals, not having to worry about timelines, worrying if they're going to slip on the vow front, etc. It's just a casual time to be together and take some really great photos. OH! And looks who else made a return appearance; DUDLEY!!!!! Soooo sweet!!!

And thanks Heather for doing another show-stopping job on another beautiful subject. I think we can call Kristie a Paper Dolls "All-Star" now, can't we?!?  So pretty :-)

Julia - Bridal

I love bridal sessions. I never feel like I get to do enough of them because I just love them so much. Why? Sessions like THIS! This was the perfect day for shooting an outdoor bridal session; the sun was starting to go down so I could get that fabulous "rim light", the breeze was pleasant, the gardens were stunning, and well, Julia is just a complete doll and is so wonderful in front of the camera!

Another great day :-)

Rachel + Eric

Yesterday was a good day. The sun was perfect, the temp was great, and the breeze was awesome. It was a fantastic day for an engagement shoot downtown with Rachel and Eric. What a perfect pair these two make and even though I say it so much, there's just nothing quite like shooting a couple who look so fantastic together. Their friendship and laid-back personalities really shine when they're in front of the lens and well. So, because of this wonderful chemistry, it was just a really good day :-)

Lowe - Bratcher Wedding

Wow! One of the most anticipated weddings I've shot this year... Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Bratcher! We had all kinds of fun shooting prior to and during this wedding. As one of her bridesmaids (and my pal) put it... It was a "Lovin' Lowe Weekend", and she couldn't have described it anymore perfect than that! The weather was more perfect than anyone could have hoped for, and the atmosphere at House Plantation was terrific. The beautiful decorations and colors that filled this lovely countryside setting looked like they were taken out of a storybook and the ceremony and reception were just amazing.

If you remember Kristie and Ric's engagement shoot, you may recognize the photo on the drum set on top of the groom's cake. How cool is that?!? I'll be thinking of a ransom to get my grubby little paws on that drum set! My desk is begging for it I tell you, BEGGING!

Many congratulations to Kristie and Ric and may you both have all of the joy and happiness you truly deserve.
